Job Summary

We're seeking experienced Tier 1 Remote Customer Support Specialists to join our network of Mods. As a Tier 1 Remote Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to our clients' customers via phone, chat, and e-books. You'll be the go-to expert for customers, guiding them through the process of navigating our clients' products and services. Responsibilities

As a Tier 1 Remote Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer support to our clients' customers via phone, chat, and e-books
  • Resolving customer concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Guiding customers through the process of navigating our clients' products and services
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving issues for web and mobile apps
  • Multitasking in multiple browsers and browser tabs while handling customer communications
  • Demonstrating a strong ability to walk customers through complex processes and procedures
  • Providing empathetic and professional support to customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics and targets

Requirements

To be successful as a Tier 1 Remote Customer Support Specialist, you'll need:

  • 1+ years of experience in customer support, preferably in a Tier 1 environment
  • Experience with Zendesk and other ticketing systems
  • Experience with inbound calls, chat, and email support
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to multitask in multiple browsers and browser tabs while handling customer communications
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Mac, PC, iOS, Chromebook, Kindle Fire, and Android computers/devices and applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable internet speed and service
  • Dedicated laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or above
  • Quality headset
  • Quiet workspace to take calls
  • Willingness to install MSQ security software and 2FA app on the phone

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with e-books and other digital content

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience with social media and community management
  • Strong knowledge of customer support software and tools
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
  • Strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

As a remote customer support specialist, you'll be working from the comfort of your own home or office. You'll need a dedicated laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or above, a quality headset, and a quiet workspace to take calls. You'll also need reliable internet speed and service, as well as a willingness to install MSQ security software and 2FA app on your phone.
