As a part-time Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be an integral part of our Incident Response Team, working closely with our experts to identify, mitigate, and recover from digital threats.
Key Responsibilities
As a Network Protection Examiner Understudy, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes to develop high-quality technical solutions
- Ensuring that solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business strategies, and adherence to departmental standards
- Managing project timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of solutions
- Serving as a resource to facilitate effective communication between business and IT teams
- Participating in system and acceptance testing
- Extent of work may vary depending on the team project
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fundamental knowledge of data security and risk mitigation standards, theories, and strategies
- Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm is a plus
- Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Administration, Risk and Compliance (GRC) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement is a plus
- Major understanding of project management systems, including the ability to design, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders is a plus
- Fundamental knowledge of technical environment is required
- Openness to Agile philosophies is a plus
- Coursework or experience related to Network Security is a plus
- Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines is a must
- Past investigator entry-level position experience within the past year is a plus
- Experience in tackling business problems in a capstone or case competition is a plus
- Ability to work in a culture that is open, direct, conscious, gracious, and empathetic
- Fast learner, self-motivated, team-oriented, with a sense of humor
