As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional service and support.
Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Intake and sale of prescriptions, processing charges for prescriptions and OTC merchandise
- Collecting payments in the form of cash, check, and credit card
- Providing receipts and checking the status of student accounts
- Collecting personal information and counting and recording all cash/charge records and files
- Answering calls and greeting patients with exceptional customer service
- Following all state and federal laws pertaining to the practice of pharmacy, including HIPAA
- Adhering to established operating procedures and maintaining a fast-paced, busy work environment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or higher, plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Pharmacy experience is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and billing systems
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
