Job Overview

As a Customer Service Associate at Amazon Locker+, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing customer orders, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. You will work in a designated retail location, interacting with customers, and resolving any issues that may arise. Your role will be to ensure that our customers have a positive experience with our brand, and that they feel valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive, pick, and stow customer orders, process returns, and prepare for delivery

  • Assist customers with questions they may have, and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Work through problem-solving scenarios for customers, and provide solutions that meet their needs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, and ensure that all equipment and tools are in good working order
  • Manage responsibilities for a Locker+ location, including opening and closing site
  • Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders
  • Receive truck deliveries, and ensure that all packages are properly stored and secured

Requirements

* Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirement and safety guidelines in English

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or experience in customer service preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, with the ability to lift up to 49 pounds
  • Availability to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., with schedules varying week to week

What to Expect

* Schedule flexibility: Depending on where you work, schedules may include full-time (40 hours), reduced-time (30-36 hours) or part-time (20 hours or less), all with the option of working additional hours if needed

  • Shift options: Work when it works for you, with shifts that may include overnight, early morning, day, evening, and weekend
  • Anytime Pay: You can instantly cash out up to 70% of your earnings immediately after your shift (for select employee groups)
