Working Hours and Location
As a Remote LTC Data Entry Technician, you'll work a flexible schedule of 11:00am-7:30pm EST, with rotating weekends and holidays. You must currently reside in one of the following states: AZ, CO, IN, FL, KS, MA, MI, MO, OH. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and meeting productivity and quality standards.
Responsibilities
As a Remote LTC Data Entry Technician, your main function will be to triage calls and assist callers, ensuring that all prescription-related inquiries are resolved efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include:
- Contacting physician's offices as needed for refill authorization
- Contacting clients for verification of orders as needed
- Processing all new and refill prescriptions
- Opening orders as needed, verifying eligibility, proof, and inputting prescriptions while maintaining productivity and quality standards
- Documenting correspondence and follow-up in the system
- Preparing audit sheets and providing feedback to your manager
- Forwarding incomplete or rejected scripts to the appropriate department for resolution and tracking status in the system
- Initiating and documenting correspondence and follow-up in the system
- Answering incoming calls promptly and providing a high standard of customer service to clients
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements
- Long-term care pharmacy experience required
- Frameworks and Docutrack experience required
