We're now seeking an experienced Data Entry/Claims Processing Agent to join our remote team, working from the comfort of your own home in Texas, Florida, Georgia, Wisconsin, Mississippi, North Carolina, or South Carolina.

About You

As a Data Entry/Claims Processing Agent at arenaflex, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with our Claim Processing Operations Manager to administer the initial claims process. To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of skills and experience. You may have previously worked in data entry, billing, insurance claims, or accounts receivable roles, and you're now looking for a new challenge that leverages your strengths.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry/Claims Processing Agent at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers by returning phone calls and acknowledging correspondence in an appropriate timeframe.
  • Effectively and accurately entering data on all new claim submissions to our company database system and providing confirmation to clients as needed.
  • Reviewing and investigating documentation on facts of loss, collection potential, and communicating with clients for additional documentation upon receipt of new claims.
  • Verifying accident details with various reporting agencies, obtaining police reports, and skip tracing as needed.
  • Conducting initial calls to report claims to insurance companies and confirming coverage, as well as contacting involved parties to confirm damages and verify insurance policy information.
  • Documenting clearly and concisely all relevant activity on all files and making recommendations for additional activity as appropriate.
  • Communicating and escalating claims with a high degree of difficulty to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry, billing, insurance claims, or accounts receivable roles.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in data entry skills and/or typing skills.
  • General office skills, computer proficiency, and basic math.
  • Ability to effectively manage your own time and coordinate various tasks simultaneously.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Be well organized and detailed oriented.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and have a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when speaking with difficult callers.
  • Critical thinking and ability to use logic and reasoning to identify approaches and solutions to problems.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, we prefer candidates with:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Salesforce.
  • Advanced data entry skills and/or typing skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
