Experienced Chat Moderator – Remote Community Management and Conflict Resolution Specialist

Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Chat Moderator to join our remote team. As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for ensuring our Discord community adheres to our rules and guidelines. This part-time, flexible position offers a unique chance to work with a dynamic team, develop your skills, and contribute to the growth of arenaflex.
Key Responsibilities:
* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring a positive and respectful environment for all users
- Delete messages that violate our community guidelines and rules
- Ban users who repeatedly break our rules, after thorough investigation and due process
- Mute users who have violated our rules, to prevent further disruption
- Investigate reports from users about potential rule violations, and take necessary actions
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and rules
- Provide excellent customer service and support to our community members
- Stay up-to-date with arenaflex's policies and procedures, and adapt to changes as needed
Essential Qualifications:
* Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Familiarity with Discord and online community management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in community management, moderation, or customer service
- Knowledge of online safety and security best practices
- Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services (computer programming courses, social media app, and bank account)
- Experience with conflict resolution and mediation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
