Job Description

We're searching for an Experienced Part-Time Data Entry Assistant to join our Data Management team. This is a work-from-home position, with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, and weekends. As a Data Entry Assistant, you'll be responsible for phone/online research and data collection. This position may be based in Illinois and Arizona. Our part-time employees play an important role in our business function, and we're seeking only those candidates with an interest in working hard, while gaining valuable business experience and knowledge. Qualified candidates will have a strong interest in data entry and research with an organization dedicated to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct phone/online research and data collection under the supervision of the Team Lead

  • Provide accurate and timely data entry and research results
  • Utilize the internet as a research tool and demonstrate computer savvy
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and research
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders through written and verbal communication
  • Meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide excellent customer-service skills, including comfortable cold-calling
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Publisher, and Excel
  • Strong understanding of the food, beverage, and restaurant industry, including classifications and types
  • General understanding of menu structure
  • Foodservice experience a plus

Essential Qualifications:

* Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week, with up to 29 hours available

  • Expertise using the internet as a research tool and computer savvy
  • Previous experience in data entry or adjacent role
  • Professional, ambitious, adaptable, and hard-working with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline-oriented
  • Excellent telephone and customer-service skills (comfortable cold-calling)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools: Word, Publisher & Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

* Strong understanding of the food, beverage, and restaurant industry, including classifications and types

  • General understanding of menu structure
  • Foodservice experience a plus

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:

* The pay range for this position is between $14-$16 hourly, based on experience
