Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, handling a wide range of tasks, and working collaboratively with our team to ensure a seamless travel experience. You'll be the go-to person for customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about our services. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring a positive experience for all.

  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information about our services.
  • Manage the check-in process, including tagging and registration, using electronic systems.
  • Process payments, handle cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons.
  • Balance daily transactions, manage overages or shortages, and maintain accurate records.
  • Inspect baggage and freight, answering customer questions and resolving issues.
  • Answer phone calls, provide information, and resolve customer complaints.
  • Load and unload aircraft, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Manage misused customers due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged luggage.
  • Resolve issues quickly and efficiently, adhering to our organization's rules and regulations.
  • Complete forms and reports as required by the organization.
  • Write incident and complaint reports as needed.
  • Perform other work duties as directed by supervisors.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job.
  • Ability to understand reports, follow directions, learn, and comprehend tagging techniques, rules, and guidelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances.
  • Ability to complete the Customer Service Representative training program with an 80% or higher average and pass the assessment period.
  • Knowledge of hazardous situations and ability to handle crises on a case-by-case basis.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints to achieve quick turnaround of aircraft.
  • Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance, adhering to the Ground Service Worker Handbook and Work Schedule.
  • Ability to perform all job duties within a confined space.
  • Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems effectively.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate information and directions verbally or through radio equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience in the airline industry or a related field.

  • Knowledge of airline operations, including check-in, baggage handling, and aircraft loading.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with electronic systems, including check-in and baggage handling software.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy objects, as required by the job.
