  • The Elite Job is seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Transcribers fluent in Chinese, Malay, and English to join our dynamic team. As a Legal Transcriber, you will play a vital role in delivering accurate and high-quality legal transcription services to a wide range of clients across sectors such as corporate law, intellectual property, criminal law, and more. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and an opportunity to work with an international clientele while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and precision.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • * Accurately transcribe legal proceedings, interviews, depositions, and other legal documents from audio or video recordings.
  • * Ensure all transcriptions are completed in a timely manner while meeting strict formatting and quality requirements.
  • * Edit and proofread transcripts to ensure 100% accuracy and consistency with legal terminology.
  • * Manage and organize confidential legal information with the utmost discretion.
  • * Collaborate with clients and team members to clarify unclear audio, terminology, or document specifics.
  • * Stay up-to-date on legal transcription guidelines and industry best practices.
  • * Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • * Fluency in Chinese, Malay, and English, with excellent comprehension, grammar, and written skills in all three languages.
  • * Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures across various areas of law.
  • * High typing speed with exceptional accuracy.
  • * Proficiency with transcription software and tools.
  • * Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Experience:
  • * Minimum of 2 years of professional legal transcription experience preferred.
  • * Previous experience working with international or multilingual transcription projects is highly desirable.
  • * Familiarity with different legal systems (e.g., Common Law, Civil Law) is an advantage.
  • Working Hours:
  • * Flexible working hours; project-based workload.
