About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Bookkeeping team. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our Senior Bookkeeping Supervisor to drive process improvements and ensure accurate financial reporting. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility and autonomy you need to thrive in your career.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Planning and preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
- Leading the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external entities for assigned functional areas
- Ensuring financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
- Assisting with providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
- Collaborating with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders on significant accounting matters
- Conducting special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

- Sharp business acumen and process-oriented thinking
- A focus on data and a willingness to dig deep for truth and accuracy
- Excellent communication, oral, and written skills, with strong proficiency in English
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/ internal controls
- Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite (or similar)
