The Role
We're seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our web and cloud-based applications. As a key member of our software development team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to develop and deliver high-quality software solutions
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web and cloud-based applications using a range of technologies, including AWS, Python, and Java
- Develop and maintain complex software systems, including data pipelines, APIs, and microservices
- Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality, and implement best practices for software development
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including debugging and performance optimization
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud-based applications
- 4+ years of experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, and other core services
- 2+ years of experience with Python, Java, or other programming languages
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and deployment
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* AWS Certification, including Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer
- Experience with data quality tools, including Great Expectations, Deequ, or similar
- Strong understanding of Linux or Windows operating systems
- Experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban
