Job Summary

As a Service Desk Chat Agent, you'll play a critical role in providing timely and effective support to our end-users via our live chat channel. You'll be responsible for answering incoming chats, tracking information in our ticket tracking system, and leveraging your expertise to resolve issues efficiently. Your goal will be to achieve high levels of first-call resolution, identify opportunities to streamline and automate agent processes, and maintain best-in-class service standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service via live chat, ensuring a positive experience for end-users

  • Answer incoming chats, track information in our ticket tracking system, and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Leverage our knowledge base tool and expertise to resolve technical issues related to enterprise software and hardware
  • Achieve high levels of first-call resolution and identify opportunities to streamline and automate agent processes
  • Effectively manage multiple chats concurrently, maintaining professionalism and netiquette
  • Clearly document actions taken in ticketing records for tracking and data analytics

Essential Qualifications

* Excellent customer service skills, with a proven track record of delivering world-class service

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce accurate and detailed documentation
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess, triage, research, educate, and resolve incidents and requests
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Two to five years of chat experience, with a proven track record of success in a comparable complex and fast-paced work environment
  • High school diploma or GED with relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Technical support experience, preferably in a similar industry or environment

  • Experience with ticket tracking systems and knowledge base tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
