Job Description:

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for ensuring our online community adheres to our rules and guidelines. This part-time, remote position offers flexibility and the chance to work with a dynamic team that values equality and inclusivity. Your primary duties will include:

• Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, which may involve:

+ Deleting messages that violate our community guidelines + Banning users with repeated rule infractions + Muting users who have violated our rules + Investigating user reports of rule violations

• Collaborating with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and policies
• Providing excellent customer service and support to users, addressing their concerns and questions in a timely and professional manner
• Staying up-to-date with arenaflex's policies, procedures, and community guidelines to ensure a consistent and fair moderation approach
• Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• To be at least 18 years old
• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools (training will be provided)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in community management, moderation, or a related field

• Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services (computer programming courses, social media app, and bank account)
• Familiarity with online community guidelines and moderation best practices
• Experience with conflict resolution and mediation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
