Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch service to our passengers, handling a variety of tasks, and working collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless airport operations. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide friendly and courteous support to passengers, responding to their queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure efficient airport operations, including handling baggage, freight, and reservations
  • Handle cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets, processing charges, making change, and balancing daily transactions
  • Manage overage or lack, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of passenger transactions
  • Inspect and verify baggage and freight, answering phone calls to provide information to guests, paging clients, resolving issues or grievances, and assisting on a case-by-case basis
  • Handle exchanges necessary to load the aircraft in a convenient and efficient manner
  • Manage misused passengers due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged luggage, resolving such issues quickly and in accordance with established organizational rules
  • Provide current and accurate information on flight schedules, reservations, flight departures/arrivals, and answer general inquiries from passengers and other airport guests
  • Complete forms and reports as required by the organization
  • Write incident and complaint reports as needed
  • Perform other work duties as directed by Supervisors

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

  • Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job
  • Ability to understand reports, follow directions, learn and comprehend tagging techniques, rules, and guidelines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances
  • Ability to agreeably complete the Customer Service Representative training program with an 80% or higher average and assessment period
  • Knowledge of hazardous situations and ability to handle crises on a case-by-case basis
  • Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve quick turnaround of aircraft
  • Ability to provide a well-groomed appearance in understanding the Ground Tasks Worker Handbook and Work Schedule
  • Ability to perform all job duties within a confined space
  • Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems effectively
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate information and directions verbally or through radio equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in customer service, preferably in an airport or travel-related industry

  • Knowledge of airline operations and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with electronic ticketing systems and other airport technology
