Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst & Online Chat Assistant to join our team, working remotely from the United States. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will play a vital role in developing and sustaining coverage, providing departmental insights on efficiency, and creating data-driven solutions to address complex business challenges. You will work closely with our technology team to meet department demands and ensure seamless data storage and retrieval.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain comprehensive data analysis reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI and Excel to support business procedures and data-driven decision making.
- Design and implement robust data quality specifications and management processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Collaborate with our monitoring and business analysts to understand business needs, maintain complete records, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements.
- Create, maintain, and establish scalable data pipelines and data architecture to support business growth.
- Utilize data storytelling principles to generate clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI.
- Help automate existing business processes and enhance exception-based reporting.
- Partner with our IT team to discover, analyze, and integrate new data sources (data mining).
- Evaluate large datasets to identify relevant patterns and provide actionable insights.
- Validate data for accuracy by verifying against requirements.
- Research and remediate data errors.
- Participate in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & methods.
- Examine and validate metrics to ensure effectiveness and provide recommendations to team leaders on areas that require attention.
Essential Qualifications
* 2 years of experience in comprehensive data analysis, with a strong focus on data visualization and reporting.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including working with different visual objects, such as dimensions, measures, filters, computed columns, and DAX queries.
- Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code.
- Experience with ETL tools, such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other big data integrations.
- Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures.
- Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets, highly preferred.
- Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query.
- Familiarity with Smartsheets.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and big data analytics tools.
