Experienced Translation Program Specialist – Global Content Localization and Project Management

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Translation Program Specialist to join our team and help us deliver exceptional customer experiences. As a Translation Program Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of translations for our global organization. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and translation vendors to manage projects, troubleshoot issues, and drive results. Key Responsibilities: * Receive daily translation/localization requests from internal team and stakeholders, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and project volumes. * Create and manage translation projects in the arenaflex Translation Management System (ATMS) by outsourcing to vendors, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results. * Coordinate and communicate project delivery timelines, and troubleshoot issues or questions regarding target audience, file type, and business requirements. * Respond to linguistic queries from translation vendors, request feedback from internal stakeholders, and coordinate with vendors for implementation. * Apply project management methodology, including risk management, to plan, scope, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard, ensuring they meet the requirements of the business. Ideal Candidate: * 2+ years of experience in project management and localization, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent business communication skills, with the ability to comprehend complex technical concepts and processes. * Experience working in a global, cross-functional, multilingual team, with a passion for intercultural communication and a strong attention to detail. * Proven ability to learn new software, concepts, and processes, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. * Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask, with a focus on delivering results in a timely and efficient manner. * Ability to work independently with little oversight, with a high level of autonomy and self-motivation. * Fluency in one or more non-English languages, with a comprehension of translation/localization industry processes and knowledge of localization tools, translation management systems, and content management systems. Preferred Qualifications: * Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on prioritization, time management, and stakeholder communication. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues in a timely and effective manner. * Experience working with translation management systems, content management systems, and other localization tools. * Knowledge of industry-standard project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum. * Certification in project management, translation, or localization, such as PMP, PMI, or ATA.
