Role Description As a Volunteer Podcast Host with CollabED, you will lead engaging discussions and interviews focused on educational topics, spotlighting innovative teaching practices and fostering professional growth. Your responsibilities will include planning and scheduling episodes, conducting research, interviewing guest speakers, coordinating with the content team for promotional materials, and ensuring high-quality delivery of podcast episodes. This is a volunteer role and will be conducted remotely, with flexible hours accommodating your schedule.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Interviewing skills to engage effectively with diverse educators and guests
- Writing and Research skills to develop insightful podcast content and prepare questions
- Experience with Social Media for promoting episodes and engaging with the CollabED community
- Organizational and time-management skills to plan and execute consistent podcast episodes
- A passion for education, collaboration, and professional learning
- Experience hosting podcasts or public speaking is a plus
- Familiarity with audio recording software and basic editing is a bonus
