Job Summary
As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Transplant at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in helping others on the path to better health. You will be responsible for routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. You will work in a high-production environment where you will need to multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focus, team orientation, problem-solving abilities, strong written and oral communication, and strong computer skills.
Responsibilities
* Route questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion
- Make outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
- Work in a high-production environment where you will need to multitask between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and prescription data
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless and efficient patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with changing regulations and best practices
Requirements
* 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records and pharmacy software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask between patient referrals
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong commitment to patient care
- Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and prescription data
Preferred Qualifications
* Specialty pharmacy experience
- Call center experience
- Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: Minimum: $17.00 Maximum: $27.90 Please note that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
