Key Responsibilities and Job Elements
As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and driving results in the following areas:
- Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce: You'll be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance.
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises: You'll play a key role in ensuring that our customer expectations are met, and that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with all support teams: You'll work closely with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
- Physical demands: You'll be required to lift up to 49 pounds, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
- Work environment: You'll work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud, and where the temperature and weather conditions may fluctuate.

Our Operation's workflow has three major components:
- First mile: This is where the product is housed and ready for order.
- Middle mile: This is where the order is hauled to your area.
- Last mile: This is when the product is delivered to the customer's door.

Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent: You'll need a high school diploma or equivalent to apply for this role.
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role: You'll need at least 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, such as customer service or sales.
- Leadership experience: You'll need to have experience leading a team or working in a leadership capacity.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills: You'll need to be able to communicate effectively with your team and customers, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or logistics, is preferred.
