Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service Representative on our Health Texas project team, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering Incoming Calls: Respond to incoming calls from consumers, including the general public, prospective enrollees, and people assisting enrollees or acting on their behalf.
- Tracking and Documenting Inquiries: Use our applicable systems to track and document all inquiries, and complete associated tasks according to established guidelines.
- Meeting Quality Assurance (QA) and Key Performance Metrics: Meet QA and other key performance metrics, and facilitate the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download.
- Transferring/Referencing Consumers: Transfer or refer consumers to appropriate entities according to established guidelines, and escalate calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution as needed.
- Facilitating Translation Services: Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking callers according to procedures, and attend meetings and trainings as requested to maintain up-to-date knowledge of all programs and systems.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- High School Diploma or GED: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and 0-6 months of relevant professional experience is preferred.
- Customer Service Experience: Customer service experience is preferred, and you must reside in the state of Texas, within 70 miles of El Paso.
Training Requirements:
To prepare for this role, you'll need to:
- Work Onsite on Day 1: Attend equipment training on your first day, and complete classroom and on-the-job training with no time missed.
- Work with Webcam: Be willing and able to work with a webcam during training and other meetings as instructed by management.
Home Office Requirements:
To work from home, you'll need:
- Reliable, High-Speed Internet Service: A reliable, high-speed internet service is required, and services that connect via a cellular network (mobile hotspot, fixed wireless, etc.) or satellite are incompatible.
- Minimum 20 Mbps Download Speeds: A minimum of 20 Mbps download speeds is required, and you must be able to connect your computer directly to your modem or router via an ethernet cable.
- Quiet and Distraction-Free Workspace: A quiet and distraction-free workspace is required, and arenaflex will supply your computer equipment.
