Job Summary

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our digital databases. You'll be responsible for inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating order statuses for customers, and double-checking your work to ensure that data is entered correctly. Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Data Entry and Management: Inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating order statuses for customers, and double-checking your work to ensure accuracy.
  • Data Verification and Correction: Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities if possible, and checking the output to ensure that data is accurate and complete.
  • Research and Data Retrieval: Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents, and applying data program techniques and procedures to ensure that data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Report Generation and Storage: Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations to ensure that data is secure and easily accessible.
  • Document Scanning and Printing: Scanning documents and printing files, when needed, to ensure that data is accurately captured and stored.
  • Customer Service Support: Providing excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and updating order statuses in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

To be successful as an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills, including touch typing and database management tools.
  • Basic Knowledge of Data Entry: Basic knowledge of data entry principles and practices, including data validation and verification.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data entry errors and discrepancies.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure that data is accurate and complete.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Experience: Experience working in a data entry role is a plus, but not required.
