We're looking for a highly skilled and empathetic Concierge Customer Service Representative to provide top-notch support to our customers. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities

As a Concierge Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our customers' lives. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to telephone and email inquiries from customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Negotiating with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out of network providers
  • Assisting customers with benefits and healthcare questions, providing clear and concise information
  • Documenting all calls received in our system-based call log
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to provide expert guidance to customers
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of college or higher education preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service or call center environments, preferably in a healthcare-related role
  • Medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience is a plus
  • Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus
  • Strong customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, with strong computer skills and navigation
  • Excellent data entry and typing skills
  • Knowledge of provider organizations and networks
  • Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates
  • Ability to negotiate rate structures and resolve complex issues
  • Independent judgment and decision-making skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Ability to multi-task and anticipate potential needs/problems
  • Medical terminology knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in claim processing, insurance verification, or pre-certification

  • Understanding of Self-Funded health benefits
  • Provider office/facility billing department or financial area experience

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home office. You'll need to have a dedicated workspace with a reliable internet connection and standard office equipment. The role requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer, with hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive salary range of $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
