Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for handling service requests from customers who are starting, stopping, or transferring their utility services. Your role will involve communicating with customers via phone, email, chat, and correspondence, ensuring that their needs are met with professionalism and care. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Actively listening to customers to understand their concerns, needs, and build rapport
- Providing essential support in navigating the customer's inquiries and explaining it in simple terms
- Discovering solutions using tools and resources to help meet the customer's needs
- Empathizing and resolving concerns to simplify the customer's experience
- Navigating through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
- 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center (utilities industry experience is a plus)
- Self-driven and able to focus on the same task/objective for long periods of time
- Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills
- High computer proficiency and overall technical knowledge
- Open availability between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday Eastern Standard Time
- Professional positive attitude and courteous telephone etiquette
- Customer-focused personality and motivation to achieve goals
- Must pass background check including credit review and assessments in training
