Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Manager State & Higher Education to join our Southwest Business Department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for coaching and developing our Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. Your primary focus will be on increasing sales, establishing formal partnerships, and broadening awareness of our corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts. Key Responsibilities

* Coach and develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales and revenue growth targets

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts to increase sales and expand our reach
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase sales, establish formal partnerships, and broaden awareness of our corporate travel programs and services
  • Identify and hire a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences to inform sales strategies and tactics
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to ensure arenaflex remains a leader in the managed travel industry

Essential Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field

  • Proven track record of success in sales and revenue growth
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a team of sales professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. is required, and no current or future work authorization sponsorship available

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the managed travel industry, with a deep understanding of the needs and preferences of State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts

  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans to increase sales and revenue growth
  • Experience in coaching and developing sales teams to achieve sales and revenue growth targets
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies and tactics, including account management, sales forecasting, and sales analytics
  • Ability to travel for training, meetings, conferences, and other business-related activities (approximately 10-20% of the time)

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

  • Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Bonus structure: eligible for annual bonus based on performance and company goals
