Job Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Experienced Claims Customer Service Representative. In this role, you'll be responsible for handling internal and external phone and email inquiries, providing information and explanations on various levels of contract coverage and claims processes, and working closely with our Claims Adjudication Department to ensure seamless customer experiences. Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Claims Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Analyzing information in Vehicle Service Contract and claims system to advise customers of the appropriate benefit amounts
  • Requesting and distributing internal information to aid Claims Adjudication Department
  • Answering phone and email inquiries and providing information and explanations on various levels of contract coverage and claims processes
  • Managing workflow, processing, and completing all requests and documents according to established procedures
  • Being a team member, working effectively in a friendly team environment
  • Being interactive and communicative with management and co-workers in a visible manner, requiring camera usage for training, team meetings, and meetings with management
  • Other job duties as assigned

Key to Success

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of a High School graduate or GED
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve and multitask
  • A high level of accuracy in data entry skills
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with contract holders, agents, dealers, internal staff/upper management, and customers
  • Proficient working on a PC, with a working knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn new programs quickly
  • The ability to type at least 35 wpm and document information while discussing the claim over the phone
  • Automotive Service Department experience is preferred, but not required. Warranty Administrators, BDC Representatives, Automotive Cashier/Receptionist, and Service Writers are also encouraged to apply
