Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Chat Support Specialist to join our team as a Community Moderator for our online platforms. As a Community Moderator, you'll be responsible for ensuring the integrity and safety of our online communities by enforcing community guidelines, managing user reports, and providing exceptional customer support. This is a part-time, remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
* Moderate online chat forums, including but not limited to: + Deleting messages that violate community guidelines + Banning users with repeat offenses + Muting users who have violated community guidelines + Investigating user reports and taking appropriate action
- Collaborate with the arenaflex team to develop and implement community guidelines and policies
- Provide exceptional customer support to users, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in community moderation and online safety
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure consistency and quality in community moderation
Qualifications
* Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with online community platforms and moderation tools
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in community moderation or customer support
- Familiarity with Discord or other online community platforms
- Knowledge of community guidelines and online safety best practices
- Certification in community moderation or customer support
Skills and Competencies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
