Job Responsibilities
As an Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist – Web & Cloud Application Development at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading our data science initiatives, mentoring junior colleagues, and implementing best practices across the team. Your primary focus will be on Customer Data Science, working on both short-term and long-term projects as needed. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Data Source Identification: Identify the most relevant data sources, define data requirements, and perform preliminary data quality checks.
- Problem Formulation: Analyze business problems, challenge assumptions, and develop solutions that drive business growth.
- Analytical Modeling: Select suitable modeling strategies, develop variables and functions, and conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Model Deployment & Scaling: Work with MLOps to deploy models to production, continuously log and track model performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Code Development & Testing: Write code to develop solutions, create test cases, and validate proposed answer layouts.
- Applied Business Acumen: Evaluate business cases, influence stakeholder decision-making, and translate business needs into strategies and initiatives.
- Model Assessment & Validation: Identify and evaluate model assessment metrics, apply testing and tuning strategies, and ensure testing records are documented and maintained.
- Data Visualization and Storytelling: Recommend visualization tools, generate graphical representations of data, and present insights to various audiences.
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in an analytics-related field, with a strong understanding of machine learning, statistics, and data science.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or R.
- Ability to execute projects from start to finish, including mentoring junior colleagues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex algorithm evaluations into simple language.
- Experience with MLOps, coding standards, and data visualization tools.
