Responsibilities

As a Customer Relationship Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular follow-ups and personalized interactions
  • Providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification
  • Conducting customer-focused, needs-based reviews to educate customers about insurance options and provide tailored solutions
  • Collaborating with the State Farm Agent team to achieve business goals and objectives
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to customers

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Enthusiasm for the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
  • Self-motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the success of the team
  • Ability to effectively relate to customers and understand their needs and concerns
  • Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
  • Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry or a related field
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services, including property and casualty, life, and health insurance
  • Experience with customer relationship management software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
