About the Role:
As an Experienced Healthcare Patient Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences and ensuring seamless communication with our clients. You'll be responsible for answering patient calls regarding Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and researching balances, managing patient refunds, and processing patient payments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer patient calls regarding EOB and research balances to provide accurate and timely information
- Manage patient refunds and process patient payments in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, clients, and guests, ensuring a positive experience
- Consistently demonstrate attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills
- Collaborate with the team to achieve exceptional client satisfaction and revenue cycle management goals
Requirements:
* A minimum of one year of experience in medical billing and collections is required
- Current knowledge of medical billing and reimbursement for commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare is essential
- Thorough understanding of EOBs and the ability to effectively communicate by phone and in writing with patients is crucial
- Self-motivated, multitasking, and a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse populations
- Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in a revenue cycle management or medical billing environment
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems (PMS)
- Certification in medical billing or a related field (e.g., CPC, CCS-P)
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
