Of Counsel Litigation & Trial Attorney (Fully Remote)

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Florida-licensed civil litigator and trial attorney for a part-time, of counsel engagement. Our practice is concentrated on construction litigation and business disputes arising from the construction industry. Compensation is $100.00 to $175.00 per hour depending on experience. If you are an experienced civil litigator looking for a fully remote and flexible opportunity to do meaningful work without the demands of traditional firm life, this engagement was built for you. You will never be required to report to an office. You manage your schedule, your docket, and your time. You set your own workload. No rainmaking. No business development. No office politics. Your cases, your call. Direct access to principal attorney expertise in construction law is there when you want it and out of the way when you do not. Matters are concentrated primarily in Central Florida; in-person appearances are generally limited to trial, and travel expenses are reimbursed.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as lead counsel on construction and civil litigation matters
  • Handle all court appearances, hearings, motion practice, and mediations
  • Manage cases from inception through trial, bench and jury
  • Manage discovery, including depositions, pleadings, and litigation strategy on your active files
  • Communicate directly with clients on case status, strategy, and next steps
  • Manage your own docket and deadlines independently

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Bar license in good standing
  • Experience in construction law, business litigation, or real estate litigation strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 trials as lead or co-lead counsel in circuit or county court; experience as a former prosecutor or public defender welcomed
  • Ability to manage an independent litigation docket
  • Professional, responsive, and client-focused
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus

To Apply Submit a resume and a brief description of your litigation background, case types handled, trial experience, and current practice situation. No formal cover letter required. Qualified candidates will be contacted promptly. Billing, payment terms, and caseload details are discussed at interview. Pay: $100.00 - $175.00 per hour Benefits:

  • Flexible schedule

License/Certification:

  • Florida Bar license (Required)
