About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Enterprise Customer Engineer to join our team and help our clients unlock the power of AI-optimized infrastructure. As a seasoned professional with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, machine learning, and technical sales, you'll be responsible for identifying and assessing large-scale AI opportunities that can benefit from AI-optimized infrastructure. You'll work closely with our internal Cloud AI teams to remove roadblocks and shape the future of our services.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and assess large-scale AI opportunities that can benefit from AI-optimized infrastructure
- Help clients leverage accelerators within their overall cloud strategy by running benchmarks for current models, finding opportunities to apply accelerators for new models, developing migration paths, and assisting with research fees to optimize performance
- Work closely with internal Cloud AI teams to remove roadblocks and shape the future of our services
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that incorporate Google Cloud AI-optimized infrastructure
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to customers, highlighting the strengths of accelerators and demonstrating their value
- Build repeatable assets to enable other customers and internal teams to leverage AI-optimized infrastructure
- Influence Google Cloud approach on the intersection of infrastructure and AI/ML by advocating for customer requirements
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on machine learning and AI
- Experience building and operationalizing machine learning models, with a strong understanding of model performance and optimization
- Proven ability to deliver technical presentations and lead detailed discovery and planning sessions with customers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with C-level or senior business leaders and influence decisions
Desired Qualifications
* Experience with education and fine-tuning large models (e.g., image, language, segmentation, recommendation, genomics) with accelerators
- Experience running MLPerf benchmarks and performance profiling tools (e.g., Tensorflow profiler, PyTorch profiler, Tensorboard)
- Experience with distributed training and optimization of models, with a focus on performance vs. cost
- Ability to design and architect large-scale infrastructure farms for professional AI use cases
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and AI-optimized infrastructure

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
The USA-based salary range for this full-time role is $125-$175 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
