Job Summary

We're looking for a seasoned data science professional to lead our Global Data Strategy group, driving strategic initiatives and delivering high-impact results. As Director of Data Science, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions that inform business decisions, optimize risk management, and drive growth. Key Responsibilities

As Director of Data Science, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading the strategic evaluation of arenaflex credit metrics, credit provision, and reserve for Senior Management in Risk and Finance: You'll analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to inform business decisions.
• Owning precise information assets/packages within Risk Finance, and becoming a subject matter expert of the applicable tools: You'll troubleshoot issues, reconcile results, identify enhancements and automation opportunities, and train other customers to drive adoption.
• Developing and maintaining preferred and ad-hoc reports used by Risk Finance and/or business partners; providing credit-associated analytical support: You'll create data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
• Developing and presenting key analyses and recommendations to Senior Management: You'll distill complex data insights into actionable recommendations, driving business decisions and growth.
• Building and maintaining relationships across Risk Finance portfolio groups and with partners in Risk, Controllership, Tech, etc.: You'll foster strong relationships with stakeholders, driving collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Providing selection-aid with a strong emphasis on growing analytics that identify trends and opportunities within the portfolio which may be used to optimize Business and Risk decisions: You'll develop data-driven solutions that inform business decisions, optimize risk management, and drive growth.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Advanced experience working with a maximum of the following is required: SQL/Hive, Power BI/Tableau, Python/R, VBA, TM1: You'll have a strong foundation in data analysis, visualization, and modeling.
• Experience working with a sophisticated degree of Excel and PowerPoint required: You'll be proficient in creating complex spreadsheets, data visualizations, and presentations.
• Experience in ML modeling is a plus: You'll have a strong understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques.
• Solid economic and analytical skills; ability to work with large units of data and draw significant conclusions, empowering our business partners to make smart, data-driven decisions: You'll be able to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
• Superior attention to detail, alongside exemplary organizational and problem-solving skills: You'll be able to manage multiple tasks, work under tight timelines, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Must be results-driven and proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work within tight timelines: You'll be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

• Master's degree in advanced mathematics or statistical discipline required: You'll have a strong foundation in mathematical and statistical concepts.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

• $55.00 to $85.00 hourly + bonus + equity (if relevant) + benefits: Your salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
