Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for a wide range of administrative and staff support services, including:

  • Data Entry: Enter personal customer information into databases as collected upon forms or spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Data Review: Review all data for errors and report any unusual findings to management, maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity.
  • Information Collection: Collect and determine the completeness of all information before entering data into software programs, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Document Management: Scan and print required documents needed to collect information for data entry, adhering to strict privacy guidelines as dictated by state and federal law.
  • Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly reports regarding sales information or areas to be improved upon, providing valuable insights to management.
  • Software Maintenance: Ensure proper updates of required software and train new employees as needed on company processes, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
  • File Management: File and organize paperwork used to enter data into programs, maintaining a record of original documents and ensuring easy access.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Remote Data Entry Clerk, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent degree is required, demonstrating your ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Office Computer Systems and Software: Knowledge of office computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Strong Written and Communication Skills: Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and customers.

* Microsoft Excel Experience: 1 year of experience with Microsoft Excel, with a strong understanding of formulas, functions, and data analysis.

  • Data Analysis: Experience with data analysis and reporting, with the ability to generate insights and recommendations.
