Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Retail Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing returns and exchanges, and maintaining a clean and organized retail environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a Retail Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key duties and responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and offering assistance or direction as needed.
- Returns and Exchanges: Process returns and exchanges, complete paperwork for warranty returns, and ensure that all returns and exchanges are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Merchandise Management: Ensure that the retail location is clear of missing parts, stock shelves and counters with merchandise, and maintain a clean and organized retail environment.
- Advertising and Display: Assist in setting up advertising displays or arranging merchandise on counters to promote sales.
- Performance Standards: Follow performance standards as written, including computer proficiency and other key performance indicators.
- Cash Handling: Stamp, mark, or tag price on merchandise, obtain merchandise requested by customers, and place merchandise in a bag or box.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean shelves, counters, and displays, and maintain a clean and organized retail environment.
- Greeting and Thanking: Greet customers when they enter the store, check packages and receipts when exiting the store, and thank customers for their business.
Education and/or Experience
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED): A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Customer Service or Sales-Related Experience: One to three months of customer service or sales-related experience and/or training is preferred.
- Computer Proficiency: Computer proficiency is a must, and you'll need to be able to navigate our retail systems and software.
- Background Check and Drug Screen: You'll need to pass a background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
