Job Overview

Our client, a leading full-service self storage company, is seeking a highly skilled customer service representative to join their team. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for handling incoming calls, resolving customer inquiries, and providing exceptional service to clients. Your primary focus will be on renting storage units, helping customers pay their bills, and calling customers with delinquent past due balances. With a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and retention, you'll play a vital role in driving business growth and success.

Responsibilities

As a customer service representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming calls from customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Calling customers with outstanding balances to collect payments and resolve any issues
  • Following up with customers who have expressed interest in storage units to ensure a seamless experience
  • Initiating the auction process for customers who have not paid their storage fees, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
  • Implementing a tenant protection program to safeguard customer belongings and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

  • Previous experience in customer service roles, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service
