Job Summary

As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you'll work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families. You'll be responsible for:

  • Empathetic communication: Using your excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills to help patients and their families understand complex medical bills and resolve account balances.
  • Customer service excellence: Providing outstanding customer service, collaborating with patients over the phone on affordable payment plans, and taking payments by phone.
  • Accurate documentation: Using your computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail to accurately document all calls and follow-ups in our software systems throughout each day.
  • Team support: Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and caring team focus.
  • Continuous improvement: Continuously improving your skills and knowledge with supportive coaching/feedback from your manager and team leads and ongoing training.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent: Required

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience: Preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Essential
  • Computer proficiency: Required (familiarity with software systems and technology)
  • Attention to detail: Essential
  • Organizational skills: Required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Essential
