About the Role:

As a Healthcare Patient Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences through our revenue cycle management services. You'll be responsible for answering patient calls regarding Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and researching balances, managing patient refunds, and processing patient payments. Key Responsibilities:

* Answer patient calls regarding EOB and research balances to provide accurate and timely information.

  • Manage patient refunds and process patient payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to effectively communicate with patients by phone and in writing.
  • Demonstrate extensive attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills to ensure accurate and efficient processing of patient payments and refunds.
  • Provide a positive customer service experience to clients, guests, and patients, consistently demonstrating a commitment to excellence and trust.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve exceptional client satisfaction and revenue cycle management goals.

Requirements:

* A minimum of one year of experience in medical billing and collections is required.

  • Current knowledge of medical billing and reimbursement for commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare is essential.
  • A thorough understanding of EOBs and the ability to effectively communicate with patients by phone and in writing is required.
  • Consistently demonstrate extensive attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to clients, guests, and patients.
  • Self-motivated, multitasking, and a team player with a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of one year of experience in medical billing and collections.
  • Current knowledge of medical billing and reimbursement for commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare.
  • Thorough understanding of EOBs and the ability to effectively communicate with patients by phone and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, medical billing, or business).

  • Experience working in a revenue cycle management or medical billing environment.
  • Certification in medical billing or a related field (e.g., CPC, CMC, or CMRS).
