Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a primary contact for patrons, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer care, managing the cash register, restocking goods, tidying the store, and fulfilling additional tasks as directed by the Store Manager to enhance store revenue and ensure customer contentment while safeguarding company resources.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver exceptional customer care by warmly welcoming and aiding patrons

  • Use the cash register and scanner to list and calculate the cost of the customer's items, receive payments, provide correct change, package the products, and offer assistance with selecting items when required
  • Adhere to the established procedures for handling company products; unpack items, manage inventory, replenish shelves, and arrange product showcases
  • Perform cleaning duties such as store tidying, waste disposal, dusting, and floor mopping, in addition to maintaining restroom and receiving areas, and assisting with the arrangement of outdoor displays
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and drive sales growth
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and inviting shopping environment
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including sales data, inventory levels, and customer feedback

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in cash handling and inventory management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with cash register systems and point-of-sale software

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Familiarity with planograms and guidelines for merchandise display
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using technology to enhance customer experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
