Experienced Bilingual Customer Support Specialist (Contract) - Prayer and Meditation App

We're seeking an experienced Bilingual Customer Support Specialist to join our team on a 4-month contract basis, with the opportunity to renew based on performance. As a key member of our support team, you'll play a vital role in helping our users navigate our app and providing exceptional support in both English and Spanish or Portuguese.

The Role
As a Bilingual Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering live chat messages and supporting the needs of our users through our Intercom customer messaging platform in both English and either Spanish or Portuguese
- Collecting and relaying customer feedback to the rest of the arenaflex team
- Identifying potential issues and coordinating appropriately with the Development team
- Supporting other Customer Support projects as necessary

- Compensation: We'll offer a compensation package that's competitive with market rates. This position will begin at 20 hours per week and has the potential to ramp up to 40 hours a week depending on need and volume.

What We're Looking For
* Passion: First and foremost, we're looking for someone excited and passionate about our mission. It makes it a lot more fun to actually care about what you're working on.
- Experience: We're looking for experience in Customer Support with the ability to communicate clearly and fluently in English and ideally in Spanish or Portuguese using our chat feature. We're looking for someone who can come in on day one with an idea of what to focus on and know their way around a startup.
- Aptitude for Learning: We'll give you the training to be able to answer most of the questions that come your way, but part of the role involves you learning the user journey and being able to creatively address their questions. We'll also be looking for you to synthesize the most common feedback so that the team knows which bugs and improvements to prioritize.
Requirements
* Strong fluency in English and bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese
- Familiarity with software such as Intercom, Stripe, Retool, Notion, Slack, Braintree, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Zendesk (a plus)
- Coding knowledge is not required but is a plus
- A minimum of 3 years in Customer Support/Service
- A reliably strong internet connection (at least 10 MB/s) is necessary
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, if needed
