Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our onboarding process, you'll be responsible for communicating with our delivery professionals, reviewing applications, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. If you're tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
As a Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:
- Reviewing applications and documents for accuracy and eligibility
- Conducting virtual vehicle safety inspections with qualified driver-applicants (training provided)
- Communicating with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email about the status of their applications
- Ordering driver applicants' pre-employment background checks using company software
- Ensuring a smooth onboarding process for our delivery professionals
Experience
While experience is not required, we're looking for candidates with:
- Associate's degree or above (preferred, but not required)
- 1-2 years of experience in recruiting/onboarding gig app workers or working in data entry, HR, or customer service (preferred, not required)
Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Comfortable with smartphone applications and web-based applications
Work Environment and Culture
As a remote-friendly company, we offer the flexibility to work from home or our downtown San Diego office. Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $25,000 to $35,000 annually, based on skills, education, and experience. This role is also eligible for additional benefits, including:

Locations
We're based in San Diego, CA, but we're open to remote candidates from the USA. If working from home, you must have access to a reliable internet connection and working computer.
