What You'll Do
As a Full-Time Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Directly communicating with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription approvals, resolve client issues, and clarify order requests
- Conducting thorough examinations and issue resolution to determine proper solutions for clients and partner organizations, with follow-up on a case-by-case basis
- Completing accurate data entry of prescriptions into arenaflex's healthcare software
- Maintaining a high level of quality through data entry and order handling of veterinary pharmacy orders
- Providing exceptional customer service, working with empathy, attention to detail, patience, compassion, and kindness to clients and partners alike
- Embracing a growth mindset, sharing feedback, receiving feedback, and working in a culture of openness and development
- Communicating with veterinary facilities via telephone (and occasionally other channels) with various topics, primarily utilizing internal programs and systems to explore solutions and record client note accounts, requiring meticulous attention to detail
- Expecting a significant portion of the typical business day to involve outbound veterinary center/client telephone contacts
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2 years of experience working in a client- or healthcare-focused environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Ability to multitask (e.g., chatting on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes)
- A strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
- High school education or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy
- Strong decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adjust to changing business needs and adapt to a dynamic work schedule
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
- Ability to pass a background check
