Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Princeton, NJ. As a remote Customer Service Representative, you will provide telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers, answering a variety of inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities

* Answer incoming member and provider calls and respond to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits and programs, etc.

  • Provide accurate and timely information to members and providers, ensuring that every interaction is personalized and convenient.
  • Resolve issues and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner, ensuring that every member and provider feels valued and supported.
  • Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in customer service.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide seamless support to members and providers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

* Must live within 50 miles of Princeton, NJ.

  • High-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (use of Wi-Fi is not permitted).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form.
  • Ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals.
  • Must be able to work from home and prove to be self-sufficient.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple calls and tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with working remotely in a call center setting.

  • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
