Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Part Time/Casual Customer Service & Sales Assistants. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting arenaflex University merchandise, and supporting various retail operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable retail experience, develop your skills, and be part of a dynamic and supportive team.

Responsibilities

As a Part Time/Casual Customer Service & Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Greeting and welcoming customers, demonstrating active selling, and providing product information and guidance
• Maintaining the appearance of the sales floor, setting up seasonal promotions/visual displays, and monitoring assigned areas for product restocking and recovery
• Operating cash registers, assisting customers with check-out, and executing cash handling procedures
• Receiving and processing incoming merchandise, assisting with special orders and store-to-store shipping requests, and handling seasonal perishable goods
• Supporting the digital and in-store shopping experience by assisting with responding to customer inquiries
• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and security protocols, and following arenaflex Retail Services policies and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A pleasant personality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively with the public
• Moderate computer/systems competency and excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to occasionally climb ladders, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed, and stand for long periods of time
• Prior retail sales experience is helpful but not required
• Availability to work variable hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs and work performance

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment

• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Familiarity with arenaflex University and its community
