Key Responsibilities As a Manager State & Higher Education, you'll be responsible for: * Coaching and professionally developing Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management * Executing strategic direction for State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts * Increasing sales and establishing formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts * Broadening awareness of arenaflex corporate travel programs and services * Identifying, hiring, onboarding, and training a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry * Collaborating with fellow Leaders to drive business growth and innovation Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field * 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field * Proven track record of success in increasing sales and establishing partnerships * Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a team * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business growth and innovation Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial: * Experience working in the managed travel industry * Knowledge of State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts * Familiarity with arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services * Experience with sales training and development * Strong understanding of business travel trends and industry developments Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess: * Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a team * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business growth and innovation * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to travel for training, meetings, conferences, etc. Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
