Job Summary
As an Operations Manager at arenaflex, you will lead a team of hourly workforce and be responsible for maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will play a key role in ensuring customer expectations are met, and orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location. Key Responsibilities and Job Elements
* Lead and Motivate Your Team: Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure Safety and Quality: Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Collaborate with Support Teams: Work closely with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans that meet business objectives.
- Physical Demands: Lift up to 49 pounds, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
- Work Environment: Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud, and in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments).
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs) and be open to new ideas and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
