Job Responsibilities
As an Experienced Full Stack Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Work with large, messy, disparate datasets to perform ad-hoc analyses, create ETLs, and develop data visualization to display and quantify the effect of modifications and specific business challenges.
- Data Storytelling: Engage with team members and cross-functional groups to establish credibility, analyze stakeholder needs, and share relevant information to drive business decisions.
- Automation and Scripting: Leverage scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks for reporting, such as screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition.
- Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship: Document your approaches and share your expertise with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Operations, Finance, and Product groups to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Excellent SQL Skills: 2-4 years of experience with SQL, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity.
- Tableau Expertise: 1-2 years of experience with Tableau, with a focus on creating impactful dashboards and visualizations.
- Business Operations Fluency: Strong understanding of business operations, with a focus on supply chain management and transportation experience.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to work cross-functionally, communicate complex ideas, and establish credibility with stakeholders.
- Scripting Languages: Experience with Python or other scripting languages, with a focus on automation and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced SQL and Tableau Experience: 2-4 years of experience with SQL and Tableau, with a focus on complex data analysis and visualization.
- E-commerce Operations or Parcel Service Experience: Experience working in e-commerce operations or parcel service operations, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Data Manipulation Tools: Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
