Key Responsibilities:
As a Full Stack Data Science Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing strategies to unite and break down complex data collections, including organized and unstructured data
- Directing team(s) appointed to projects and overseeing executions to ensure assets are precisely assigned in accordance with strategic plans
- Planning, creating, and carrying out techniques, cycles, and frameworks to analyze and interpret data, and providing recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success
- Staying informed about new scientific techniques and innovations, and applying them to drive business outcomes
- Developing and maintaining key relationships with internal and external partners to address business issues
- Allocating available resources to meet working targets, and creating and tutoring staff through on-boarding, open communication, training, and development opportunities
- Building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment
Essential Capabilities:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience with analysis and statistical software like SQL, R, Python, SAS, SPSS, and Hadoop
- Profound knowledge of SQL and open-source data science and analytics tools like Python, R, and Flash
- Experience laying out and maintaining key relationships with internal and external partners to drive business outcomes
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in a work environment
- At least 2 years of direct management, indirect management, and cross-functional team leadership experience
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
Preferred Capabilities:
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Advanced education in a quantitative, computational, or technical discipline
- Experience communicating at the executive level
- Experience driving cross-functional teams
