Experienced Customer Service Agent - Airport Ticket/Gate Agent

Key Responsibilities
As a Ticket/Gate Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Greeting and assisting passengers with their ticketing and baggage check-in process
- Ensuring accurate travel documentation and making gate announcements
- Tagging and lifting baggage from scales to conveyor belts (up to 70 pounds)
- Operating loading bridges and opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors
- Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport
- Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and ensuring a smooth travel experience
Scheduling and Work Environment
Scheduling is based on operational needs, with shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. Each station is different based on its individual flight schedule. You will work between 20 and 40 hours per week, based on your seniority. Our airport is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

What You Need to Succeed
To be successful as a Ticket/Gate Agent, you will need to:
- Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data
- Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
- Proficiency in English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
- Possess basic digital literacy
- Pass a physical ability test (PAT) – you can prepare for the PAT by watching this video
- Pass a Customer Service Assessment
- Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
