Job Responsibilities

As a Financial Analyst in the GM&NS Pricing Group, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating Canadian forecasts for businesses reducing revenue, tracking monthly performance against forecast, and identifying areas of change
  • Developing and implementing pricing strategies across multiple regional cost groups to drive revenue growth and profit expansion
  • Supporting external audits, including investigation of issues discovered, and communicating with local value teams to discuss and resolve issues
  • Performing ad-hoc data analysis to measure discount rates and gain insights

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis or business payments and/or other finance-related roles
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. finance, accounting, business administration)
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create best-in-class financial models and maximize value from large amounts of financial information
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. SAS/SQL) is required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence others in situations where they may have different goals
  • A strong work ethic, with a passion for winning and a focus on excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
  • Creative thinking skills, with the ability to question the rules of operation and develop new ways to address old challenges
  • Strong project management skills, with full ownership from analysis to implementation
  • A dedicated customer focus, with the ability to understand and resolve customer needs and problems
  • The ability to remain calm and flexible under pressure
